Sliding Scale CSA & Emergency
Food Access
MoGro is a nonprofit mobile grocery project committed to providing healthy food that people can depend on. We offer bags of fresh, mostly local, fruits, veggies and grocery items each week that are available for pickup at locations in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Pecos & Espanola. In response to the increased needs presented by the pandemic, we are also providing bags to tribal communities, refugee families and others in need. We are still the small & mighty mobile grocery that people love, but to ensure a safe pickup for everyone, things look a little different. We are now distributing every week in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Pecos & Española. To learn more check our updated How it Works page.
Emergency Food Access During COVID - 19 Crisis
Food access is harder for everyone right now. It’s even harder for those who already met challenges getting fresh, healthy food to their family.
Tribal Communities are facing extra high rates of positive COVID-19 cases, restricted travel, and reduced income. Refugees in densely populated urban areas are also facing a disproportionate spike in cases, and being asked to stay home. Essential Workers and Home Health Aides who take care of New Mexico’s elderly are taking on high-risk but low-paid roles protecting all of us from this pandemic.
MoGro is doing everything we can to provide relief. Over the past 10 months, we have been sending emergency bags with fresh, local produce and staple grocery items to help out.
