MoGro, The Mobile Grocery, uses temperature-controlled trucks to provide access to healthy, affordable food to communities that currently lack access due to physical location and cost.
MOGRO 2.0 IS ON THE WAY!
We are pleased to announce that the newly designed MoGro 2.0 is currently being built and will be providing service in late spring. The updated version of the MoGro store will offer a much-improved customer experience protecting all customers, products and staff members from the harsh New Mexico elements. The interior of MoGro 2.0 is temperature controlled providing air-conditioning in the hot months and heat in the cold months. Just two steps up from the ground, the new design will allow for easy entry and exit. All shopping and checkout will be done in the truck. There will be refrigerated cases for produce and dairy, frozen cases for meat, and dry sections for staple items — all with excellent visibility and access. Please see schematic and drawing below for a better idea of what MoGro 2.0 will look like and how customer flow will work.

The team has been working hard on securing a better, healthier product offering and we think the customers will benefit from the broad new product selection.
We remain committed to the MoGro mission: To provide healthy, affordable food to communities that do not have grocery stores!
Our Vision
Elimination of “food deserts” in New Mexico: that all communities have access to healthy, affordable, and sustainably sourced foods. ( See more about MoGro's management and business philosophy )
Santo Domingo Pueblo
The initial MoGro soft launch occurred on Monday April 18, 2011 at Santo Domingo Pueblo, New Mexico. The MoGro truck was extremely well received by the community with nearly 100 customers purchasing items, doubling expected projections. Customer receipts reflected the majority of items purchased were produce, reinforcing MoGro's mission to bring healthy, fresh, affordable food to Pueblo Communities. Where would you like to see MoGro go next?
You can see photos of the launch here.

MoGro is Drawing Attention!
Kids of Santo Domingo Pueblo schools were asked to draw their interpretations of their new Mobile Grocery truck. They are very excited and amazing young artists:
